9mm Ammo

My local pawn shop had some .22lr in a (50ct) ziploc bag for a little over $12.00 about a week ago.

That's a huge rip-off given the prices that are available, IF you can find them.

Your best, current online price puts it roughly at $0.14/rd, so $6.75 for a box of 50.
That info is from gunbot. GunBot 22lr rimfire ammo

You could get 22lr at $0.13/rd if you want to buy 10,000 rounds at $1300.

It's probably cheaper at Walmart but I have no idea what the going 50rd box price is there anymore. Maybe someone here knows. Again that's also IF you can get it.

I a thousand rounds of wolf 9mm for $199 somewhere the other day.

Guns are getting tempting...

VEPR 12 with "fixed, folding" stock ;) for 799 shipped. Heck of a nice all Rusky gun for that price.

Tavors can be had for under $1700 in any flavor.

The best deal out there right now I think is the VZ2008 with 5 mags bayo and kit for $499

I remember when foreign surplus Enfield and SKS rifles could be had for 20 bucks and AKs were under a hundred.

so you think im fibbin?

No, but being that the Barnaul plant is in Russia...

However, Wolf actually has some plants they can produce at outside of Russia. Prices may go up a little to compensate though.

Buy one Ruger...and now you're a "Ruger" man?

I like my rifle and I've heard really good things about the LC9 in particular. I would say that Ruger could do a couple things off the line to improve their 10/22's but honestly the parts are cheap and not hard to replace.

The LC9 is a fine pistol.

Have you shot pistols much?

Price wise I like the LC9. I've heard the only complaint about the LC9 is that it's got a long trigger pull which can be easily remedied with a trigger kit.

Can't say I have honestly. Only other hand gun I've shot was a Sig Sauer 229 and in all honesty I wasn't impressed with it. What about you?

The 10/22 is the perfection..

so lets leave that at that

Now Sig Saur>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I think Sig Saur sucks but that is just a personal opion from experience

I'm not spending that amount of money on a hand gun just because it's got the Sig Sauer name. TV shows and movies pimping out the name just makes it worse.

I'm seriously thinking about getting a Ruger LC9.

Great weapon, it's my primary carry. Small enough for ISWB or out. At least a thousand rounds through it without an issue.

Saw a new tag on the ammo shelf at Walmart last night for 225rd of 22lr ammo and the price was $11.-- a box. My jaw dropped, I think it was Remington. I didn't have a photo to snap a pic though. I might be going back tonight to to return some things and I'll try to snap a photo of it. There were no boxes of course.
