To answer your question, yes, I voted against it. I have two young daughters, and I don't know what they will decide to do with their lives as adults. But, should they choose to not marry, or even if they are gay, I would hope they would have the same freedoms as legally married, heterosexual couples.

Nonsense...God would never make someone homosexual. The gays are choosing to commit an imaginary crime because it is fun to be different and ridiculed.

Exactly! It is astounding to me that people still believe sexual orientation is a choice. Why in the world, even today where there is more widespread acceptance, would someone make that choice and all the fun that comes with it? As someone who prayed for it to go away and fought it for many years, it is a belief that is difficult to understand.

Right, and the animal kingdom/natural world is God's creation. So how is the existence of homosexuality in the animal kingdom reconciled?

Easy, Protestants are against reconciliation, both in the context of reasoning around contradictions and forgiveness of sins. They basically fought against both contexts, and we now refer to this bloody and protracted dispute as the reformation.
