There's no solution to the gun problem. And, yes, it's a problem with guns. This is by far one of the most ridiculous proposals. The amount of guns in this country already makes them readily available to anyone with any motive.

In a perfect world, there would be no guns. Criminals wouldn't own guns. Good citizens wouldn't own guns. Kid wouldn't accidently get shot by playing with guns. This isn't a perfect world though.

Until then, I am packing and no liberal is stopping me.

This is a remarkably stupid idea. It will never work. Even anti gun people should think it's stupid, and everyone in here is now stupider for reading it. People who think this is a good idea should move to California where they'll fit right in.

VolNation hereby sentences LG to have to watch at least 8 episodes of Sons of Guns and attend a gun safety class in his home state, and is banned from posting any threads or comments that are gun related until he has completed that portion of his education on the subject.

All in favor say "Aye"... :thumbsup:

(I know, I know, who am I to impose such a sentence.... shhhhhhhh!) :whistling:

Holey moley! Clicked your link and watched the Thompson test. That was one bad mofo. Spitting .45 shells at +700/min. Daang. Easy to see why the Germans had a particular dislike for it.

He lived but he is not the same person. Speech/memory problems, problems using his left arm/limps on his left side, and he no longer has a right eye.

Back towards the topic, he, my brother, and I have been avid shooters/hunters and have always believed in the 2nd amendment. No one's opinion in my family has changed towards the right to ownership/carrying/selling. I don't know how dude got the gun, I'd guess illegally being that this wasn't the first time he shot someone while robbing them, but the responsibility falls on the shooter.

Yeah, I'm getting to really like that show. The "bazooka" episode was pretty cool, especially when the first rocket missed it's target and headed toward one of the stores across the street. I bet his neighbors jump at every loud noise, haha.

Edit: The fact that they managed to build a viable shotgun silencer in one of the episodes was pretty amazing, also.

What about the guy taking a bazooka shell to the gut? I'm sure it was filled with baby powder but still crazy! I stumbled upon the shotgun silencer episode (really cool) but had forgotten about the show. Thanks.
