Tell me why I should be excited about this guy. I have been so out of the loop, I had no idea Hubbs was committing today and know nothing about this kid. Is Davis an elite level player who is currently underrated because of limited or no AAU exposure or is this Cuonzo wanting him to play a specific role and be a solid 4 year contributor?

Most likey this.

Davis is also a tweener, so that always will hurt your stock in basketball recruiting.

He's a good player.

I'd take that commitment in a heartbeat. He's going to be a good player for somebody and he's got tremendous upside.

I'm gonna be short and sweet and elaborate more later if he's a vol.

Grew up a guard, shot up 6" and now is 6'9" with a guards game. Can bomb away, and has good handles...his dad was a NBA post so he is helping him improve his post game. You don't find guys his size with a guard game on street corners...if he continues to put in the work he can e VERY special.

If J3 needs a scholarship someone's getting cut, that's reality.

Well you know BTO not saying you are wrong on that but I don't think its fair to anyone on the team to speculate that they are going to get cut. The season needs to play out and of course if Stokes were to go Pro then there would be room.

If you think college sports is fair you're naive. Guys get their scholarships cut regularly, look at the transfer rates, it's ridiculous.

From ESPN: Strengths:
Davis is a skilled combo forward that has great blood lines (his father is former NBA player Antonio Davis). He is a long, lean, active young player that is surprisingly skilled for his age and size showing the ability to rebound the ball and lead the break in transition
