NCAA rules allow for a team to have 1 more player committed than available scholarships...At some point the scholly would have to open up obviously. Us Purdue fans like to call it getting "Creaned" because Tom Crean has been known to partake in this practice at IU.

This made me chuckle. Thank you panther. I needed that. I'm going to start applying this term to everyday occurrences.

Bleed, I would hope not. But the math just doesn't add up. Too borrow from Pres. Clinton.

I'm pretty sure CCM is recruiting with the expectation of Stokes going pro. If he doesn't, I'm sure we have a contingency plan.

Sorry if I should ignorant as I'm typically on the football side of things but we are we so excited about this 3* player?

Not being negative but does he have attributes that the scouts don't see or what....

Don't flame me....just asking an honest question. Thanks!

He has some good BCS offers.

Two, he's highly athletic and can play both forward positions.

Three, he's really starting to grow. He was 6' his frosh year in high school and now 6'9, and ever improving.

He has outstanding potential. Was 6' and had an enormous growth spurt. He's now 6'9" and his father played in the NBA and has been working with him on his post game. He is still developing but a guy who has guard skills at 6'9" and an NBA blood line is a definite take. He could be very very good.

Four, his daddy was also fairly unheralded out of high school. He turned out alright.
