Yep, that's why I went into such detail in writing it. Just so you would be entertained.

I lived in Chandler, OK for two years working on a oil rig. I saved and payed my way thru UT. I did go to a Police concert in Norman at the university center there. I then banged a gymnast from OSU in Stillwater. That's my Oklahoma experience.

Female gymnast I hope? If so cool story bro.

Yep, ya got me. You caught the Tater...

Let's see, knew Worley and Dobbs. Knew Pig and North. Revered to Croom as Clume and said "the tight end." Called Smith "the white boy who cant catch a pass." Figured I'd clarify instead of providing the actual transcript.

And actually, some of his thoughts were contrary to what I happen to believe.

Choose to believe or not, don't care and figured I'd share.

So he wasnt a white ex Oklahoma reciever? About how old? Now that we've ruled that out should be able to narrow it down pretty easily.

where is ole Chad Clifton when you need him. He was on here for awhile when he was on IR with the Packers. Great insight and maybe he can opine again.

I see him occasionally at my kids' school events. He looks to be doing well.

Anomic Aphasia- Can be serious if caused by injury, but folks with a light touch of congenital anomic asphasia can be completely functional but really do have trouble remembering names. And they have ways of not embarassing themselves such as exactly what the OP did, don't ask. For myself it comes and goes. Sometimes I can sometimes I can't.

But for the OP to describe what happened and even say he has a hard time remembering a name and just didn't want the embarassment is exactly what folks with the 'can't remember names syndrome' do. I totally believe him.

I've had two similar discussions here in west Knoxville out on Northshore Drive. One at the Ruby Tuesdays talking to one of Pearl's assistants about bb recruiting while eating and watching ESPN. The other at Macky Dee's where I met a former FB player, his wife and kid while I was grabbing a gut bomb and we talked about why Dooley couldn't get it done.

I don't remember either of their names. Don't care, and like the OP don't care if you believe it.

I speak to random people all the time but to sit there and go down a checklist of the top 10 hottest topics seems a little timely

Ever occur to you it's because the 10 hottest topics are the ones that are readily apparent even to a non-player, and a player would roll that list out because it's second nature? Also, does it occur to you the the OP may have un-intentionally edited several other they talked about out because what he did list are the hot topics.

I don't always give credence to strangers, but when I do, it's because they give reasonable credibility to their claims by some other behavior.

In this case it's his description of the anomic asphasia coping, and he don't care to admit it.

I don't always disagree with cynics, but when I do I have good cause.

Anybody that even remotely follows Tennessee football knows everything in that conversation I would think.
