A Music Tribute

Tool is and will always be my favorite band. Maynard is a poet and Danny is the reason I picked up a pair of sticks at 16

I recently got to see A Perfect Circle in Nashville finally and he was much better than he was a year earlier with Tool. He may have had voice issues with Tool then because he sounded much weaker then, and I'm a bigger Tool fan.

If Maynard dies early I'm going to really be sad because I like all 3 of his bands.

It wasn't until about 5 years ago I realized Mad Season was a group. I had loved "River of Deceit" and "I Don't Know Anything" but forever thought they were AiC songs that were maybe B songs not on any of their albums. It wasn't until I really started looking that I discovered Mad Season.

It's really sad 2 of the original members of MS are dead now, and Cornell had filled in as a guest vocalist at one of their reunion shows.

Yeah I reallyh like the title track Above, and most of that album. It stayed in the CD changer a that time. Sad.

Daw Pc when their first album dropped at a venue the size of a HS gym...2000 people packed in. Best I have ever heard Maynard. Great show but no Danny Carey obviously, who is the best drummer to ever pick up sticks imo.

Same here Hoss. A Perfect Circle is an amazing band and 3 Libras may be one of the most poetic love songs ever written. Puscifer has really grown on me over the last few years. Telling Ghosts is an amazing song.

It's impossible for Maynard to make a bad song.

Danny Carey is the greatest drummer ever imo. His Polyrhythmic and OT beats are the best I've ever heard.

The greatest live show I've ever seen was Tool at the Mid South Coliseum back in 2001. They could have cut a epic live album from that show. They were in perfect harmony.

Puscifer's first album is kind of weird and almost seemed like Maynard was just messing around, but their last albums are pretty good. I wish I had gone to see them last year in Nashville.

I caught their show at Andrew Jackson Hall and enjoyed it. Puscifer has really grown on me over the years. It took me a while but I started connecting with their sound around the last two or three years.
