I dont care who it is as long as we win again.

and again,
and again,
and again,
and again,
and again,
and again,
and again,
and again,
and again.

Yea, that will do for next year.

I'll bite (though I know better than to join this thread). I like Worley. He seems like a great guy and he has some skills. But...it was after watching him on the field that I decided that I'd like to see Peterman get the chance. When we signed Worley, Scout said his negatives were "arm strength" and "release". Watching him, this seems accurate. Now, that might not matter if he had the "it" so often talked about. If we saw him make a few plays that made us jump out of our seats. (I saw things like that from Tyler as a freshman and from Ainge as a freshman.) I've not seen it. In fact, he had a little bit of a deer-in-the-headlights look and a lack of "pocket awareness".

Scout listed Peterman's strengths coming out as: "arm strength", "field vision", and "pocket awareness" and on the highlight reels he does seem to have a livelier arm. Also, Butch recruited him, which would make you think he fits his idea of a QB.

Because of this, I hope it's Peterman, but, as with nearly everyone on here, I'm fine with whoever wins the job if they end up being the right guy.

After which of his game performances last year, where you ready to proclaim him next years starter?

Assuming that Bray would indeed declare for the NFL

After which of Worley's game performances last year were you ready to proclaim him next year's starter?

edit: chattown beat me to it

Rock Hill, huh? I wonder what the bias could possibly be here.

Worley and Peterman will go through spring practice, learn the offense and whichever one is better will be the starter. Unless Riley Ferguson is somehow better at it than both. People think Peterman may win that battle due to his mobility, something that is beneficial in Butch Jones' offense. That's the whole story.

Has a better arm too...but Worley could possibly be the better game manager

Worley doesn't have a rag arm. His arm strength is adequate. Bray's arm has everybody spoiled. The rest of him.....not so much. I believe that Worley will do well given the chance.

A vote for Peterman, is a vote for progress...

I know the answer to my next question is yes. But for the sake of clarity I have to ask.

You are aware that a strong performance against MTSU is nothing close to an accurate representation of how a QB will fare in the toughest conference in college football?

The question is what's better, a QB who has played poorly against the SEC, or a QB who has never seen the field against them?

I say it's a toss up. A 50/50 split. Thus answering your question as to why a portion of the fanbase wants Peterman, and another portion wants Worley.

He does have a decent arm but he is more of an accurate passer than someone like jamarcus Russell, Ryan mallet, etc.

All I said was Peterman has a better arm but I also said Worley might be able to manage the game better.....but in all honesty I haven't seen enough to say Worley is good or bad....same goes for Peterman....I'm just going off of physical ability
