Depends on the staff

If he drops below 7-5 then there is no buyout in the contract he can be fired

Can't leave in first 3 yrs or owes us 50 million

No...he leaves after one year we owe him nothing but his one year salary and he owes us nothing. no buyout.

Yes, as long as he wins an sec title

Bama made a reported 45 million in profit last year. For a coach that we know would produce, I would be fine if we paid ten million easy.

Would you? Why do you ask? What good does it do to ask this question? Are you a troll? Why do you care to know? Didn't you hear the news today? What difference does it make with regards to the current situation? Who is anybody else? What is total Control? What gives you the impression that this is a set figure? Staff included? Why bother to ask and please do not bother to answer any of my questions? If you have to ask you must be fishing....too much time on your hands?

I say yes. College football revenues (and coaching salaries) are only going to increase in the next few years. What you invest now, you get back with a winner. And at this point, if you hire another loser, your program is dead anyway. Got to bet it all, and Gruden is the best bet out there. There is a huge drop off after him and Patterson.

No. $10 million is too much. $7.5 maybe, but only for an incentive laden contract with a hefty buy-out if he leaves early.

No. At present date and US Dollar value. No coach is worth 10 Million a year.

No professional player is either IMO. If they are that good they can make a ton off endorsements. Can understand why people would disagree but what I think

I think he could beat Saban in year 2. Sumlin did it in year 1, granted we don't have Johnny Football at QB but I think it could be done.

Next question:

Do you think gruden could beat saban in year 2?

I say yes. Saban's age will show eventually, and I think Gruden's energy, recruiting ability, and the new wrinkles he's sure to bring to the gameplanning/strategy will speed up that process.

3yr. contract with his option on 4th 10 mil. per year. raise after 2. He picks staff, 2 with ties to UT. 15 mil. if he leaves early. 2.5mil. per playoff game split with staff. IF we got him and could market him, like commercials and camps aplenty.( to kiss up to Tenn. highschools)

In year two, you should see 9-10 wins if the system is going to work. The game will be Knoxville. 50/50 chance on that one.
