I don't see why the producers would spend much time on Dorne. Basically, one potentially significant sequence of events transpires there and that may prove to be a tempest in a teapot in the next two books. Other than that you have a lot of hand wringing over picking a side. The only things duller at this point is Danarys' trial queenship and nobodys training. All the book action is in the north, the Iron Islands and Kings Landing but it seems like the show is not going to spend more time in the Iron Isles and with a certain person fleeing KL I don't see the same amount of intrigue occurring there.

I'd like to see this thread get more activity.

It's safe to say that everyone who watches the show wants to see Stannis die. If he were to die, do you think Melisandre would see Jon Snow as the new champion of the Red God?

I think she will realize it eventually - I'm guessing she'll be the POV character at Castle Black after Jon's stabbing (if he's actually dead), so her reaction will be very interesting. Her "waking dragons from stone" prophecy seems to indicate to me that Shireen will be sacrificed to revive Jon.

Yeah, and it doesn't seem like he's open to someone else finishing the series either. I think the show is great but it will be sad if it's the only ending to this story that ever sees the light of day.

Also, if the book comes out before the show starts, he will make more money in the sales IMO.

Shouldn't surprise anyone. He took five years to write ADwD and wasn't spending half of his time going to random conventions and making celebrity appearances like he has since GoT made it big.

I wasn't expecting WoW to release before Season 6. At least I won't be disappointed. I am curious when it will be released because that will require a ton of time to binge read.
