We're right where I thought we'd be at this point. I'm still hoping they can put four quarters together and get Butch an upset. Long shot I know, but I can still hope. I do believe we get six wins and a bowl game.
Visiting the FF is like watching an eighth grade classroom that has been left unattended for a couple of hours.
Hey CSF! I just wanted to chime in. The FF has turned into a name calling frenzy. I thought we'd be 3-2 right now too. I am a little disappointed we were not very competitive in the two losses (especially OR). I was also disappointed we let SA back in the game. Before the season I thought we might have a chance to beat FL, GA, or SC. I don't think we have a realistic shot at upsetting any of those foes. At this point I'm just hoping for 6-6 and a bowl game.

Scream twice as loud for me today .....have to miss :cray:, issues at home .......
I did I did scream twice as loud for you!:clapping: I have to say that was absolutely the loudest I have ever ever experienced at Neyland - or anywhere else for the matter! The most amazing noise-came on a 3rd down - I swear I didn't think humans could make that much noise - the clock was ticking down and Murray called time out - I'll be damned (can I say that here?) the noise level went up another 50 decibels!!! At that point, I just looked at the 100 thousand-strong crowd all on their feet making as much noise as they could trying to help those kids both emotionally and by causing turmoil for the dawgs' offense; at our defensive players on the field so inspired and committed; and at their teammates on the sidelines cheering and jumping and being so totally in the game and sooooo into doing what they could to help their teammates :yahoo:; at the coaches coaching, encouraging, and believing in their players; and well...I confess...my eyes kinda started leaking - dang allergies!I was as proud at that moment as I have ever been to be a part of the Volnation! :acute:
Thanks Bob :hi:, I knew you would come through for me. I sure picked the wrong game to miss ha ha ha, I was off but had a family thing to attend to
This team is for sure headed in the right direction, if Butch can keep them up and playing like this the rest of year we should make our long term goal of a bowl game.
ilot:After Saturday's games our schedule is looking more difficult than ever......... Auburn has never been a sure win in my mind but they finally jelled , and what about Mizzlou, who would have ever believed they are for real
I know, right? Mizzlou put it to Vandy - didn't expect that at all...I felt something special Saturday - and really look forward to seeing how our kids do when the cocks flock to our stadium
