What the 'nothing burger' Grassley-Graham memo for 'CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION' suggests :

1) Why isn't the (mostly) unredacted Grassley memo front page news? Here's why: Because it confirms the Nunes memo and blows up the Schiff talking points (which the media ran with).

2)It is confirmation that the FBI's FISA application relied on the dossier and a news article, and worse, on the credibility of a source in the employ of the Clinton campaign.

3) It is proof that the FBI did not tell the Court the extraordinarily partisan provenance of the dossier.

4) It provides evidence that the FBI presented the FISA Court with materially false evidence, in the claim that Steele had not talked to the press. And then shows that even after Steele admitted under oath that he had, the FBI did not tell the FISA Court in its renewal.

5) It provides evidence that Steele was getting information from the Clinton team itself! Via the State Department! So now, not only do we have a dossier based on unnamed shady Russians, but on Sidney Blumenthal. How much of this was engineered by the Clinton campaign from start?

FISA-gate may become a more worrisome scandal than either Watergate or Iran-Contra. Why? Because our defense against government wrongdoing — the press — is defending such actions, not uncovering them. Liberal and progressive voices are excusing, not airing, the excesses of the DOJ and FBI.

Apparently, weaponizing government agencies to stop a detested Donald Trump by any means necessary is not really considered a crime.

I am not a scientist but if these uranium rights that were sold to Russia can be used as fuel to create nuclear weapons I want everyone involved, Democrat or Republican, to go to jail. There can be no reason to sell fissionable materials to Russia. If not, then its a very serious issue that should be further investigated to full transparancy.

Who's ever been fired within the upper echelon of the FBI, DOJ or State Department? Plenty have been demoted or resigned or retired early...but none fired, much less imprisoned?

Huummm...

Better yet what if Russia then sold these materials to Iran?

100% agree. Wish this was short simple story; HERE'S THE RUB...

There's uranium links further from Russia to Iran, and they knew it. Not only the Clintons are implicated in a uranium deal with the Russians that compromised national-security interests...

Rosatom had helped Iran, America’s sworn enemy, build its Bushehr nuclear reactor.

If you'll recall, Republican senator John Barrasso objected to Kremlin control of uranium assets in his state of Wyoming, warning of Russia’s “disturbing record of supporting nuclear programs in countries that are openly hostile to the United States, specifically Iran and Venezuela.” The House began moving a bill “expressing disfavor of the Congress” regarding Obama’s revival of the nuclear-cooperation agreement Bush had abandoned.

Clearly, in this atmosphere, disclosure of the racketeering enterprise that Rosatom’s American subsidiary was, at that very moment, carrying out would have been the death knell of the asset transfer to Russia. It would also likely have ended the “reset” initiative in which Obama and Clinton were deeply invested — an agenda that contemplated Kremlin-friendly deals on nuclear-arms control and accommodation of the nuclear program of Russia’s ally, Iran. That was not going to be allowed to happen. It appears that no disclosure of Russia’s racketeering and strong-arming was made to CFIUS or to Congress — not by Secretary Clinton, not by Attorney General Holder, and certainly not by President Obama. In October 2010, CFIUS gave its blessing to Rosatom’s acquisition of Uranium One.
