If it's R.A. and he's not being picked up until Sunday, he's going to miss being honored at halftime. Dooley schedule the pick up time?

My brother works for Cadillac in Knoxville. He has delivered Escalades to coaches Sunseri, Dooley, and even Cutcliffe in NC. He will also detail an Escalade if a recruit is coming in for a visit. He said that usually for that they send the base model. However, he was told today to go and detail the nicest Escalade that they had because someone from UT was going to be using it to pick up a "very special guest" at the airport on Sunday. He also said it was an extended edition because they were probably bringing family. Now, this could obviously be any coach, but I just figured it was some nice information to pass along to my VN family.

I didn't think Montravius Adams was interested in UT, are we recruiting him now? LOL

I hope no NCAA official or Vandy puke is reading this! Just saying....

Mind.... Blown.

Did I just read that we are giving Cadys to recruits on visits?

Yeah, go ahead and mark down that probation for another 70 years with a few bowl bans sprinkled in there.:detective:

What?
He said they detail a Caddy to impress a recruit when driving him around. Often called dog and pony show in the business world.

Okay. I think if they are just using the escalade to pick people up at the airport and drive them to campus then that is not a violation. The coaches will be there riding along and there will be a driver. So it's just sending someone to pick them up. I did not see where it was being used by the recruits or their families for personal use. I don't think it is like "here use this this weekend." So I don't see how that is a violation. It is just transportation which I would think is ok. On official visits I am sure they allow certain things like this. Is it auburn who uses limos? I don't think what the op is saying is an NCAA violation. I could be wrong.

Don't know if anyone has posted this or not but here you go! Picked it up off Twitter.

If you google Jon Gruden wikipedia it says Jon Gruden is already UT's head coach! Just saying!!

Wikipedia Already has Jon Gruden as the Tennessee Volunteers Head Coach | AthlonSports.com

This has gone around a few times. Anyone who is internet savvy can change a wiki page. Gruden's wiki in the past month has had him listed as HC of Arky, Tenn, and even KY. My personal favorite was when Gruden's wiki page said that we hired Rick Flair to pump up the crowd. It doesn't mean anything, sorry to disappoint.
