If it is a HC candidate coming in on Sunday, that probably leaves out Gruden and any current NFL coach.
1) Gruden has to be on site Sunday, or earlier to prepare for his MNF gig.
2) Current NFL coaches will, of course, be playing on Sunday... unless they played on Thanksgiving Day.
3) Therefore, it is possible that the guest, if it is indeed a HC candidate, is a current NCAA coach... or coordinator who has HC experience.
Of course, all this is subject to the OT being accurate. Hope it is... The BO needs a HC, and has needed one for over four years!

Are we not honoring R.A. Dickey tomm at the football game? Does anybody think that the ride is for him? I hope not, but that sounds reasonable.

Door #3 seems most logical....season ends on Sat....but a good coach will be working on his bowl game prep, so not so sure about door #3.

Does anyone know what TIME this arrival or the pick-up is? If it's the morning time, then I would have to cross off current college coaches because wouldn't they be doing their morning show? Or are those shows taped Saturday night?

Door #1a. Dilfer is subbing in on Monday, so Gruden won't need to be there. (Probably not, but who knows. I wouldn't put money on that.)

Is the ride for RA Dickey to go back to the airport? That notion has not yet been brought to this thread yet, has it? That just happened.

Gruden isn't doing the MNF gig. He's the head coach at the University of Tennessee. Gotta be at work early Monday morning.

My personal favorite was when Gruden's wiki page said that we hired Rick Flair to pump up the crowd. It doesn't mean anything, sorry to disappoint.

Yea at one point it also said something like "in spite of this great hire, Tennessee will still continue losing to Florida." Not exactly the best source ever.

Yeah. RA Dickey is the driver. It's like "We're UT, we use Cy Young winners to pick up our football coaches cause that's how bada$$ we are. V,B!". That's how this is going down. I've got it all figured out now.

Edit: what happened to "V,B!" anyways, never see it anymore? Is it just bc we have sucked so bad we have had no opportunities to use it or did I miss the meeting where we said we would quit using it? Thanks

Forget the camera. I want a video feed of the back of the SUV streamed live to VolNation. Shouldn't be that big a deal to hook up. Make it happen.

Not to pee on the parade of anyone that dreams of Gruden but if they are bringing a coach in for an interview on Sunday it will be anyone but him, more than likely, because one, the majority of teams only have a bowl game left after Saturday and two Gruden will be in prep mode for MNF. If he came in it would be during the week. It's just common sense.
