Where (and from who) is this speculation based, though? Don't take it the wrong way - I'm not claiming you actively did such - but it sort of sounds like someone just made up.

Well, I have no idea as I mentioned as to these policies. But under any contract you have to mitigate potential damages if they are likely to occur without action. So, yes, I don't know how these policies are setup but I can tell you how normal general insurance policies are setup.

Okay, I insure that if the game was unplayable on Saturday, which in this case could be disputable, they might have a good case for 11 a.m. but not so much for 5 p.m., and I do wonder if they have other requirements in the actual policy to mitigate even further.

I am not stating these policies couldn't cover these expenses, it would seem like how the policies are structured, it could be an issue. Yes, it is speculation, but speculation as to these specific policies, not necessarily as it reflects on normal contracts. Basically, I would think, Florida has cover to say the game couldn't be played the morning of, of course it could have, but they have at least cover for that, but I'm not sure they have cover beyond that, and I am not sure if they have a legal obligation into Sunday as well.

Like I mentioned, just curious because it something several of us spoke about earlier in the week. Of course, someone could insure the game and give Florida sole discretion to cancel the game at will, but I would suspect something like that would have super high premiums.

I for one wish they would not have been able to play the game. I'd rather them both act like brats and then when it was too late, be told they are both DQed from being able to play for secc. Good for us and a good lesson about trying to be little b1tches.

Now UF has a chance. Especially since their healthy and got 2 freaking off weeks.
