I thought what coach holly wore for the vandy game was very professional looking. She actually looked like a head basketball coach and not someone who just rode their harley to the stadium, got off and strolled in to coach a major basketball program

I keep hearing people say it's not coaching it's the players, how many times has this team done this this year, hoe many times has UConn played like this. Coaches have to be able to motivate players it's a big part of the job and our offense is terrible. Holly was a good assistant that's it!

I have never seen HW, at a game, look like she strolled in after riding her Harley to the stadium, but okay.

There are pics of her wearing a dress at Pat's memorial service at TBA and also, go to We are the VOLS and find the Lady Vols section and there are pics of her in a dress.

I don't think you'll find any pics of her coaching a game in a dress, though...which may have been what you meant, gule.

I think all this talk about what Holly wears is absurd. FFS, seriously?

Having said that, I was curious and looked at the website that T_Vol mentioned, and I think Holly looks very nice in a dress. She can definitely pull it off.

It is absurd, Amb...wish I had never participated. LOL I just had to get my two cents in (since I really did love the jacket she wore Sunday) because everyone was making fun of her outfits.

HW's attire should not be in the discussion...I'm sorry!

Yes totally agreed...... this conversation is so sad.... that we should be even talking about this.. I am of the mind that 100% of the goings on in the program are on Holly.. but at the same time, she is an upstanding great person... Everyone should leave her alone on this stuff!!!!

Yes, she is and yes, they should!!!

The ones who make the negative personal remarks about Holly - that tells me what their problem really is and that in their eyes she will never do anything right.

There are those who are critical of HW's coaching, but they never make remarks about her personally and they do give her credit when they feel she deserves it. These are the folks who have basketball knowledge (above mine).

The others are nothing but straight up haters...and they can go find a straw and suck it. 😜

As an acute observer of all things Pat, I can tell you that she often wore a skirt to coach games. Always a tailored suit that fit to a tee with practical pumps. That is not Holly's style, although I can tell you personally that I have also seen Holly in a skirt in a social situation, but never on the sidelines. If Holly's teams were barnstorming through, their schedule none of us would care what she was wearing. Let's stay away from clothing style and concentrate on coaching. Like I tell my kids, "you can't judge a book by its cover."
