If it works out that SMU is in and Alabama is out, great. But if not then I'm not happy Clemson won. That was a great comeback that was pretty much ruined by going brain dead in the final 16 seconds.

If that’s true, then the committee’s job is to fix tv ratings and not to put the best teams in.

I don’t understand how you get 13 people who don’t work for tv networks and who are not all under contract with the same networks to work for that goal with no public acknowledgement.

At the end of the day, if Bama had taken care of business against Vandy and not layed an egg against OK they wouldn’t be in this position. It doesn’t matter how many ranked wins they have. Sorry, but at some point you have to win the games you are supposed to. SMU won the games they were supposed to, that is why they are in.
