That's all the NFL has become. The regular season means nothing and being hot in January is all that matters. That's why it's been nearly ten years since the best team actually won a championship.

Yep. The regular season games are little more than highly glorified exhibitions. People can knock the BCS all day long, but that system has a MUCH better track record of crowning the best team as its champion than the NFL playoffs.
