Do you guys feel that with all the tension between the U.S./ Israel and Muslim Nations that the Middle East's bubble is about to burst?
If that's the case, the Muslim nations need to leave the dark ages very soon.

I was listening to Coast to Coast last night and one of the guest's was a guy who has some book about Nostrodamus and the current mid east conflict.

He claims World War III is about to erupt and Israel is going to attack Iran, with the blessing of the U.S., and all hades is going to break loose.

He also mentioned that 2005 was the tipping point for global warming and the ocean will gain 16-18 ft of water by 2040.

yes, tac nukes are a definite possibility and collateral damage only a slight afterthought.

Especially if you buy into the "intel" that we developed and gave them Nuetron Bombs. Which would enable them to detonate over their enemy and then move into the area within three days.

The Muslim nations believe we have.

Agreed, but what about the world out cry?
I think the imminent outcry would only be an outcry. Which military will seriously step in to counter Israel? The French? Their people are still extremely pacified from the experience of WWI. The Germans? I could see the headlines now, if Germany went to war with the Jewish Israeli state. The US and Britain certainly will never take up arms against Israel, especially if Israel is carrying out the dirty work in the Middle East. Russia and China would be the only threats, and I doubt that China would want to get involved. As for Russia, for the past 65 years our military has been equipped and trained to beat the Russians on their turf. Finally doing so wouldn't exactly be a travesty...

Come on, every time Israel puts a hurtin' on someone either France or the U.S. calls Israel and tells them to stop.
France has made itself irrelevant in ME affairs of late. With Dems in the office, it would never start. We'd dispatch Jimmy Carter, the Nobel Prize winning pacifist, and he'd come home and blame the Israelis for all Middle East problems, especially the plight of the Palestinians. We'd send astronomical aid packages to all involved.

Repubs would secretly long to cut the Israelis loose then support them at every turn, but the UN makes that tough, so the silly stalemate dance we see will last a while.

In the past it has been the U.S. and France that have halted Israel advances.

I believe the only threat would be Russia, China has too much at stake elsewhere to tangle with Israel. Although I believe China would be a player in the aftermath for the oil.

On a side note, that author, or whatever he is, said Russia and China would be a player in the Middle East for the oil.

I first heard of it on the History channel and it scared the bejesus out of me! They werent cryptic about things like Nostradamus (who some now believe just used their calender to make predictions)

"The Mayans prophesied that from 1999 we have 13 years to realize the changes in our conscious attitude to stray from the path of self-destruction and instead move onto a path that opens our consciousness to integrate us with all that exists."

and this might help show global warming?

"The Mayans knew that our Sun, or Kinich-Ahau, every so often synchronized with the enormous central galaxy. And from this central galaxy received a 'spark' of light which causes the Sun to shine more intensely producing what our scientists call 'solar flares' as well as changes in the Sun's magnetic field. The Mayans say that this happens every 5,125 years. But also that this causes a displacement in the earths rotation, and because of this movement great catastrophes would be produced."
