Visuals were great, story was pretty good, General Hera..I'd watch her walk away all day long.

My only question is what Baylan was doing. It will be interesting to see in season 2 what they do with that character since Ray Stevens is dead now.

My one complaint is is they left too many dangling threads and Baylan is the biggest.

The statue he was standing on was The Father from the Mortis episodes of Clone Wars.

For those unfamiliar I would recommend watching those episodes. They are a strange deep dive into the Force.

But the short version…

Also they are mentioned in the Rebels episodes that introduce the world between worlds.

Caught that too on a second look... the Mortis arc was one of my favorite parts of the Clone Wars.

Filoni has really deep dived into the lore and mythology of the SW Universe. It's like he's taking some really great parts of the EU and incorporating them into Canon while creating some new for the universe. The whole Mortis and World Between Worlds is a really nice addition that opens up the door to a LOT of possibilities.

Which Filoni had done the Kenobi series, it would have been a million times better. I hope he can come up with an idea for a season 2 so Ewan McGregor can finally have someone who knows what they're doing direct him as Obi-Wan.

They even "checked a box" in the skeleton crew, a show meant for kids.

DC seems like they're more concerned with putting out quality stuff than they are pushing an agenda. The Penguin and Creature Commandos are way better than anything Disney has put out lately.

On a show meant for kids? I know Disney wants to push their narrative in every Marvel/Star Wars show, but this was too much.

The show wasn't that good anyway. The guy playing the dad might be the worst actor I've ever seen.

Only thing positive was it was better than the the horrendous Acolyte.

Hate to break it to you, some kids have lesbian moms (or gay dad). Do you panic and shield children’s eyes if you see a lesbian couple in public just walking and holding hands?

The elephant kid had a crush on the bird girl. Does the thought on interspecies alien lust give you the same willies?

Yes, I grab my kids and we run to the car never to return to the city 🙄

Just a yes or no question. Are you ok with the lesbian couple with a child in a kids show?

Yes. Why wouldn’t I be?

Again, there are lesbian couples that have kids. Do you welcome them to the PTA meetings? To the school plays? Do you shun them from birthday parties etc?

No. I ask every person that comes to meetings or parties if they are a lesbian. Lesbians celebrate birthdays? Who knew?

When we see the first pregnant man on a star wars program, I'm sure you'll celebrate
