This Scott merkin guy…

For starters, auto correct didn’t snap on merkin as a surname. I misspelled surname and it gave me an assist.

…still no autocorrect suggestion for merkin….

I saw his interview early on. Great interview. Hate that Covid shut things down for Crochet, great debut, then TJS. I’m looking forward to his season with CWS.

Back to my hidden topic. I was wondering why autocorrect didn’t recognize merkin as a surname after the proper name Scott.

I actually spent a number of years in BSA and little league with a Scott Merkin. Great dude, great son, brother to my sons, different team. Scott coached his son. Always wondered why they didn’t change that last name…

The former coach was a good guy. He loved Kirby and made a great offer to him. But when we told him we were going to Tennessee he spoke very highly of Coach V. No trash talking to Kirby or about V. He told Kirby if you change your mind, I'm a phone call away.

Could be wrong but I feel like I remember him tweeting about it and then getting into it about NIL with Austin Price.

He is a joke tho.

FYI, I saw on VQ where someone posted a screenshot of Maui’s dad on Facebook saying they were told the family would know about eligibility by Friday (today). TIFWIW but could get good news today.
