I don’t get too bothered by what former players might say. BH-H seems to be the victim of having bad people in his circle of friends, family, and “advisors”. I don’t cut as much slack with To’o To’o. He seemed to have gone out of his way to take shots at UT.

But when I was that age I was really good at making stupid choices. So no big deal. Butch on the other hand, he should be cancelled. Eff him and his Bama victory cigar. I think that Kiffin was more lacking in self awareness and maturity. I think that KO couldn’t help being a d***. That’s just his obnoxious, toxic personality. Cuonzo was too thin skinned for the job and not ready for the inevitable criticisms and he didn’t know how to respond. And he should know that a handful of idiots harassing his wife don’t represent the whole fan base. CCM also had to put up with Bruce lurking around looking for attention.

IMO, Stephen is a spoiled pr***.
Agree with that completely. We live in a world where any platform is 'good'. Getting your name out there is more important than why or how it got there. Because of that the easiest way to get revenge on one you hate is completely ignoring their existence.

Bronny James was the 55th pick in the draft. He has scored 4 points. As of Sunday that put him at 27th among all rookies including UDFA's. Because of his platform that information will be spun so many different ways. People screaming how he was drafted and has only scored 4 points and its terrible. Or people pointing out that 28 people drafted in front of him haven't scored any. For instance, the 6th pick has played almost 17 mins a game over 8 games and scored 3points...total not per game. Does that mean Bronny is better than the 6th overall pick? Or in fact are they useless stats because the season is new, they are in different situations and truth be told most of Bronnys shine comes from the hate. For everyone that jumps on wanting to hate they amplify the name meaning more eyes are on it and some folks are gonna take his side.

Caitlyn Clark is another example. Without the hate CC would still have been one of the most popular athletes in the WNBA.. but because of all the hate and controversy she became (deservedly) worldwide known. She wouldn't have been nearly as popular without the haters and the level of hate sent her way. Draymond Green is a different example.. he is fueled by the hate and embraces the bully role..without al the antics and platform someone pulls him to the side and he listened a long time ago.. instead he's turned it into a platform and his own podcast. Gilbert Arenas.. most people that watch that show don't like or agree with him and his cohorts views... they troll away and cash those hate checks every weeks.

When I was in high school there used to be these groups that came by to make us socially conscious the NAACP the SCLC.. we mostly just went to the stuff to get out of class. I remember one time though in like the 10th grade one of those guys fro the SCLC was giving some speech about some crap I didn't care about but he started telling a story about fights which was interesting to my child mind. he explained how most fights happen not because of the 2 people involved but the crowd around it and the peer pressure. Remember back in school someone would do something fairly pointless and unimportant but it was embarrassing because you're friends and classmates saw it so now you have to push back so you don't look weak. Then the whole standoff happens the ring forms. the huffing and puffing has to turn to action because now its after school and you meet behind the gym. He noted one thing.. 9/10 if you met behind that gym and it was just those two there probably won't be a fight. Don't be the crowd that instigates was the point.

Is Aidoo hurt or working his way back from an injury? Or is he just not going to be impactful for them? Three games in and he’s coming off the bench averaging just 7 minutes per game.

Probably a little bit of both. He’s definitely been injured from what I’ve read. But Big Z seems to be the starting 5. It’s too early to tell what his ultimate impact will be, there are a lot of new pieces Arkansas is trying to figure out.

But it is at least trending early on to a huge reduction in minutes from what he got here. Which is just sad and another example of a portal victim thinking the grass is definitely greener.

Yeah, I'm starting to struggle to buy the injury excuse any longer. He's played in all three games, but he's just been ineffective and lightly used. If he was injured, then rest him. If he's coming back from injury, then he is clearly struggling and likely to lose a grip on any spot he thought he might have.

I wonder what they paid him to lure him to Arkansas because that investment is, so far, seems like a failure. Supposedly, he was looking for significant dollars in the portal.

I think I remember reading it was somewhere around the 1.2 million range but I could be off. I know Baylor thought they had him locked up until Arkansas came in with a bigger pay day in the end

It had to have been a lot, but I think we’re seeing the continued impact of short-term, money-hungry agents and family sacrificing long-term gain for short-term wealth. Because he was 2nd Team All-SEC here last year and looking like he may be able to get drafted this year if he kept improving at the rate he was. Now? The NBA seems like a pipe dream. I don’t think Cal is a good developer of talent. Aidoo is someone that clearly needs coaching and development and isn’t the elite prospect that can just walk on the court and scouts will drool over like typical Cal players.

I hope the NIL $ was worth it to his handlers, because any chance at making an NBA roster seems to be diminishing.

Was thinking the same about his NBA chances. Hope however much money he got to go to Arky is enough to sustain him for a while because those are probably the last big dollars he makes playing basketball if his PT doesn’t increase drastically soon.

It is early, but there’s no argument that it isn’t a good sign for him that he’s barely playing, especially considering he’s a guy who was thought to be a potentially draft worthy prospect.
Very valid statement. But it also could be nothing. Realistically he could suck the first half of the season if he were to come on and show out end of the season and they go on a run all is forgiven right? Also no matter how much the guy is disliked we all know he can play and if he is not playing well something is wrong. It's not like the guy forgot how to play. Do you think someone goes from All-SEC to scrub in one offseason? Anyone who falls for that is drunk on haterade. Something is going on for sure.. we will find out sooner or later.

It could be that Zvonimir is just kicking some serious ass, too.

It sounds as if Aidoo limited minutes is mainly because he's not 100%. Based on the article, Cal wasn't going to let him play their most recent game against Troy but he ended up playing him 4 minutes... says he's about 70%-75% healthy.

Weird...why play him at all, then?
