And there really is no pass or fail on the field sobriety test it's pretty much at the officers discretion. Now that being said he probably shouldn't have gotten behind the wheel after a few beers regardless if he thought he was ok or not but it's a poor decision that I and several others on this board have made and have just been fortunate enough not to have been caught or worse hurt someone else.

B.S. mistakes happen. Getting drunk and driving isn't a mistake. It is a planned event. You put the drink to your mouth without having a ride home. It's that simple. Its stupid and I have done it. I got smarter and quit. It shows a gross lack of maturity and selfishness.

Amen. I got pulled over a month ago after having 2 beers with dinner. I had to jump through all their hoops while standing on the side of the road. Its really easy to fail a field sibriety test. Notice that they didn't releaae his BAC Like they normally do. Not to mention Ainge is kinda clumsy, so he didn't really stand a chance.

He wasn't arrested for drunk driving, just DUI. It can happen after one beer with BAC so low these days. The laws aren't set up to stop drunk driving, they are set up to create revenue.

Safety my ass. It's all about the money. Hell the cop may have hated ainge. There's no telling.

It should be zero if they go any lower. It's a joke. It's not going to stop the guy that drinks a fifth and drives on his tenth DUI with no lisence

Don't really care, that's his personal issue and does not affect how I feel about him or UT. I feel bad for him, but its not worthy of a thread. There's got to be something better to talk about.

That's not a freaking mistake! That's a freaking moron that needs his ass beat. As a firefighter I see this crap all the time and so many times only the victim is truly hurt....I make sure to not be gentle with my medical care to the drunk, and if my wife is ever hurt or worse by a drunk, I swear I will kill them on the spot, and my KPD officers will look the other way!! Stupid ass
