EA's pissed, said JG quit because he was scared...definitely wants to pull his VFL card!

Big change from yesterday...

He's going off for sure. Said we matched Florida State's offer and he left anyway.

Probably upset that it took an offer from Free Shoes U for him to get a raise. The man should have been payed according to his importance to the staff & team. This could have been brewing behind the scenes (since salaries were announced) for some time. Who knows?

I've already gotten over JG leaving. If he want's to leave to not even be a RB coach at FSU then let him go.

The important part is hiring a guy who can coach our RBs to the extent of their abilities and build relationships in this upcoming year with recruits in Graham's area.

Payed? *Paid. Second, he was about to get a 75k raise after working on this staff for all of 3 months. EA is making it clear that this more on JG and he has a good look "behind the scenes" unlike pretty much everyone else posting on this board.

Ea is making it clear that this "is" more on JG.

So people are upset because Graham wanted to make more money and provide for his family. Who is to say that Graham and his style of play was a good fit for our new offense. Graham taught more power running and we are going to be a spread offense.

There is more to the story here, because it just doesn't make sense from the outside. Hopefully, someone familiar with the inside story will spill the beans.

I'm with you if jg made the comment about never leaving SC... something is wrong on the inside.. IMO... Jg knows how a winning program should feel like n for some reason he doesn't believe we r headed in the right direction or he doesn't like hart or new coach or would have stayed ..

"apparently Jay likes to run hard but doesn't like to work and coach hard"

ouch

So if JG had this worth ethic the whole time, then perhaps he wasn't as beneficial to the program as most thought. Begs the question if he didn't just contribute to the downfall of the Dooley era.

The reports are that we matched the offer.
