So people are upset because Graham wanted to make more money and provide for his family. Who is to say that Graham and his style of play was a good fit for our new offense. Graham taught more power running and we are going to be a spread offense.

there always has to be a villain. im just thankful the guy waited til after NSD.

I'm with you if jg made the comment about never leaving SC... something is wrong on the inside.. IMO... Jg knows how a winning program should feel like n for some reason he doesn't believe we r headed in the right direction or he doesn't like hart or new coach or would have stayed ..

From what Ainge is saying, Graham doesn't want to put in the work that Coach Jones is demanding. Ainge also pointed out that Rajon Neal is wearing a blue jersey currently which according to Coach Jones color schemes is bottom of the barrel.

This should serve as a wake-up call to everyone that it is a completely different environment with Jones and the he is going to be a very demanding coach and that he's not putting up with crap. This is a good thing.

So if JG had this worth ethic the whole time, then perhaps he wasn't as beneficial to the program as most thought. Begs the question if he didn't just contribute to the downfall of the Dooley era.

This is crazy to include him in DOoley's downfall. CJG doubled the RB production and was no reason for Dooleys downfall.

just like with his leaving UT, I'm not going to put too much importance on the RB coach in the success/failure of an entire program. The RB's he inherited ran well and appeared to improve while he was here. Other than that I'm not sure his impact can really be measured

He'll being paying much more out in the state of FL, mostly due to the state income tax there. He just wanted an easier place to recruit and coach, and just didn't mesh with this staff's blue collar attitude. Much more of a workman's mentality on this staff now, kinda like Kiffin, just with their shirts on and less glitter and flare.

I like Ainge, but I think Basilio's article on this is very informative.

Jay got a $50K raise; evidently the Cryptkeeper came back with some more money, but not equivalent (thanks Hart, Hambone, and Booger for everything you've done for Tennessee).

Moreover, Basilio talks about how important Graham was in holding the 2013 class together when Doolander and his staff, contrary to his TV rhetoric, quit recruiting.

Jay has handled this as professionally as possible. As Basilio says, the honeymoon for Butch is coming to an end.

Um, Florida does not have a state income tax and their sales tax is less than TN's.

Unless they enacted it very recently, FL does not have a state income tax, fwiw.

You are correct. I'm completely wrong on that one. Either way, cost of living is MUCH higher down there. Of course, he can get a house rather cheap down there right now.

I'd believe Ainge's mom before Basilio. He actually has direct contact and doesn't create an X character to appear to know what's going on

The meltdown over the departure of a running back coach, the easiest position to fill on a staff, is beyond belief

Good point but I have a really hard time taking much from BaSilly-io. I wondered why so many on here dogged him so badly , but after listening to his show I get it...awful radio.

While I agree that he made our RBs better, I give more credit to the O-line for a lot of the success that we had on the ground this year.
