He's been on pills since he was at UT. He would always take them at the beginning of the game then he would wait until after the game to have more. If you watch his film it becomes very evident in his play.

If he's addicted to some kind of painkiller, it's not because of a "character defect" or "because he's a tool." It's probably because he got addicted when recovering from an injury, and at this point there isn't much he can do about it. People don't "snap out of" addiction. Entering a treatment center is about the most constructive thing he could do at this point, and he should be applauded for doing it.

Exactly. It can easily happen to people dealing with chronic pain or repeat injuries.

Maybe he can do the same rehab center as lindsey lohan--lots of high dollar stuff around to pass the time.
