Ainge is playing like garbage

I totally agree with bammervolunteer. You guys sound just like these miserable bammers. Ainge has the same QB coach today that he had in september. Same QB coach that has Schaeffer. Chill...everything's OK.

These threads that were started in the 1st half are hilarious.

Next time, I suggest that you all take a valium and stay away from your keyboards until after the game ends. :dlol:

I thought the interchanging of QBs was a good idea. Ainge is a great QB, but he showed his rookines several times today. Overall, he did very well for a freshman QB, and Fulmer is still undefeated against SC. :good:

I think Ainge plays better when Schaeffer gets some time. :dunno:

Even more odd was that Ainge seemed to perform best when they'd bring him in on obvious passing situations when the whole stadium knew he was going to throw it.

It's like he reads defenses best when under pressure.

That is a little strange. I saw where Sanders just put in the plays that Holbert and Brown scored on.

That TD pass to Holbert looked strangely similar to the play GA beat us with in 2001.

I have never seen a more fickle post in my life. Three weeks ago Eric is the 2nd coming of Peyton. Now you guys have gone 180. Please take your lithium!!!!

There's not enough lithium in the world to go out to all the second guessers.

1. Ainge is the better QB
2. Schaeffer did as Fulmer and Sanders said . He would prvide a spark to help them win
3. UT played like crap and the Offensive coaches called a crappy game in 1st half
4. UT won
5. Nutter Dum is next
6. Lithum doesn't work when mixed with UT football

After seeing Ainge overcome a bad start to throw 3 TD passes and no picks, I think you're dead wrong, but sadly it doesn't matter anymore since we probably won't see Schaeffer again this year. :bad:

Here is where your Brent theroy smells. Schaeffer was recruited by FULMER, FULMER gave him every chance to be the starting QB the first of the year, he is FULMER's favorite yet they start Ainge because HE is the better QB anf that FACTS and anyone who has ever coached that position will tell you the same thing PERIOD.

I believe Georgia ran a similar play in their comeback against South Carolina.

Probably would have been more accurate to say Ainge was playing like crap for 29 minutes of the first half. The last minute of the first half and the 2nd half he was the Ainge that we are all coming to love.

Gentleman I believe that is why they call it a team. Need more than ONE PERSON. I think they complimented each others performance Saturday.

Yaz - what are you thinking? I know you and I'm surprised to hear you bashing Ainge like that. You gotta admit he came back to have a pretty good game - the whole reason for having co-starters is so that one can come in when the other struggles. Shaeffer had been struggling in the previous weeks and Ainge carried the load - when Ainge faultered in the 1st qtr., Schaeffer gave us the spark. It's the beauty of the system - don't get to caught up in slamming the poor kids.

all the Ainge bashing is mute with Brent out for the season maybe he can get a medical redshirt but I doubt it  that's a helluva a way to get the starting job maybe they will start rotating Rick in now? or maybe CJ or is he even still around haven't seen him on the sidelines lately....antbody know where he's vanished to?

Jesus people, freakin relax. The post was started during the first half of the game while emotions were running high and Ainge was indeed playing like GARBAGE. If you read 10 or so posts down I admitted to posting emotional. I am pretty sure we are all guilty of letting emotions take over during vol games.

And on the whole QB situation, while emotions are low. I personally prefer a dynamic QB like Brent. I do agree Ainge is the better "traditional" QB, but hey, we had one of the best "traditional" QB's ever and never won a title until the year he left and we started a more "dynamic" QB. And I do NOT agree that Brent has been given every chance to prove himself. That's crazy talk. Again, I am not anti-Ainge, just got emotional, god forbid.

Just my personal opinion though guys. I'm no expert, just a fan.
