If Woodson were at UT he'd be carrying a clip board on the sidelines every Saturday. Ainge is far more talented than Woodson.

I think he was trying to start a conversation, Woodson is better this year I mean they are bowl eligible. But winning a two point game to Lou-Monroe, means I am not worried

The premise of this thread is a joke, right?

No joke. Just trying to generate more intelligent conversation than "Kentucky sucks." Obviously, that's asking too much with some people.

It involves Kentucky football. Thus, by definition, it's a joke.

I don't get it.

Ainge is far more talented than Woodson.

Numbers don't lie. They're both pretty darn close when you compare their statistics.

I would bet on average that UT's faced tougher defenses than Kentucky has. Gotta put those stats in context.

Maybe so, but don't forget that Woodson was Sports Illustrated's player of the week last week, as well as the SEC Offensive Player of the week a couple of times this year.

When Kentucky actually beats us in football, then we might actually start comparing strenghths, weaknesses, stats, etc. Until then, KY is for a**holes.

Sports Illustrated also tried to tell us that Garrett Wolfe was a legitimate Heisman candidate.

Niether of those things really help determine the skill levels of these 2 players.

Vanderbilt put 517 offensive yards on you with one player Kentucky still won some how. However your offense has gotten better but your defense is the question here. I doubt that secondary can contain three really good recivers

Thank you for intelligent discussion!

You raise a valid question- can UK's secondary contain multiple threats? I don't think that will be the issue at stake on Saturday.

If I were Fulmer, I would run it 50 times if I could. UK has not proven that it is capable of stopping the run.

How is UT's secondary? UK has a triple threat themselves in Keenan Burton, Dicky Lyons Jr, and TE Jacob Tamme. They also have proven receivers in Ford, Johnson, and backup QB Curtis Pulley.

UK finally has a decent stable of backs in Rafael Little, Tony Dixon, and Alfonso Smith.

On offense, we have a very thin O-Line, as we've fielded 9 different starting lineups this season due to injuries.

The 2 biggest offensive weapons for UK this weekend, with UT being the specific opponent, will be Andre Woodson, and then wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy below that, Rafael Little.

Woodson will run all over us if the pocket breaks down with our linemen rushing wide.

Fulmer will establish the run. That has been a nagging problem all year so he will run the ball more than he has, but Meachem, Swain, and Smith, will get the ball as much as possible. Now for Woodson if he has to rely only on himself to make plays it will be a long day for the Wildcats. If one team in the SEC that has played a mobile quarterback. Tennessee is the most experienced

Woodson is not mobile in the least. Lorenzen was probably more elusive than AW. But AW has developed an unbelievable accuracy this year, I hope that you'll see.

By the way, I'm not the type of poster that just shows up once a year on game week just to talk smack. I'm here all year- maybe I don't post as much as Lawgator (hey, I have a life!), but I enjoy talking football.

Tennessee may win this weekend, but the tide's turning. I'm looking forward to the day when it's a rivalry game again, even though we don't have the old beer barrel anymore.
