I hope it happens. I hope AJ comes and he runs his mouth at Patterson. Then Patterson is so annoyed with McCarron trying to ruin his trip, that he takes Alabama off his list.

I generally don't get into those conspiracy theories, though. AJ McCarron is an Alabama kid, he is not the future face of Tennessee football.

Lane's already working the top-5 quarterbacks of 2010. We'll get our ace next year and who knows we may even find a starter in our current bunch. Then our guy in 2010 can ease into a starting role after serving as an understudy.

1) It's not a "theory" it's a documented fact that some kids do that on recruiting visits.

2) Don't you think it's strange that you automatically associate and throw the word "theory" onto the end of the word "conspiracy" whenever anyone uses it...including the conglomerate owned media bohemoths who introduced that phrase to you many times over the course of your life without you even realizing it...hmm

You didn't speak to him personally---you presented an opinion on his intentions.

You don't know his intentions, therefore you are speculating.

theory - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

theory:

2: abstract thought : speculation
6 a: a hypothesis assumed for the sake of argument or investigation b: an unproved assumption :

I never said it doesn't happen, I merely suggested it cannot be proven in this case.

You are making assumptions and speculations and putting words in my mouth, just like you're putting assumptions out there by suggesting you know the intentions of this kid you don't know.

McCarrons relationship is with CNS. This wont make him waiver any. They watched some of the Fla. vs. Ok game together. They are pretty tight.

Never have I said anything about being any source or anything. I have followed recruiting for a few years and rarely are there any suprises. But when a kid says he is committed just taking visits, to me thats seems to answer itself. I actually cant wait for ut to get back to being a good football team. To many friends and family that are vol fans. That weekend is a circus and is usually a lot of fun. But you people are hilarious, keep it up cause Im having a ton of fun.:p:eek:k::clapping:

That bolded statement tells me that you don't follow recruiting.

From what I've heard down here.. This kid isn't a lock to anywhere and UA, UT and Ole Miss are all about dead even... His father is extremely impressed with the Vols new coaching staff and likes the knoxville area..

If Kiffin can let him hear what he wants to hear.. He very well could be wearing orange next season..

Just heard on finebaum that AJ did not expect Lance to leave bama. He also said that he has always liked Tennessee and looks forward to hanging out with Lance during visit to vols.

Did you hear this first hand?

I'm hoping that Thompson doesn't care to help sway kids from Alabama this way.

Take a lesson from Reaves; Definately recruit them to Tennessee, but don't start talking crap about how bad Bama is. It ruins every ounce of credibility that you had to begin with.
