A J looks more like a defensive end, but not as tall as Clowney-----Clowney is 6'6" and AJ is 6' 3" might be a little late to change positions but may allow better players on the field at the same time. Maybe it should be looked at

Given his draft projection (4th-5th round), needs at DE, and capable bodies at LB, I think they should at least consider moving AJ. I don't think you can put the best 11players on the field without moving AJ or Maggit.

Why? He will be a solid middle LB at the next level..to much blame gets placed on him at times IMO. Is it his fault our DB's and Safeties can't get off blocks on screens nor tackle on hitch routes? He ain't fast, but we also didn't get gashed by people running his way.

Unbelievable how much crap AJ gets from the turds on this board!!

CJ Mosley had 108 tackles this year, including bowl game.

AJ Johnson had 106 tackles this year, 138 last year.

One of the above is considered the top LB this year, can you guess which one???

Hint: It is NOT AJ. You just can't fix stupid! :banghead2::banghead2:

Posts like this give me little hope for VN. You really want to take our best LB, in his senior season, and move him to a position he's never played before. Thats really a good idea?

AJ got a 4th-5th round grade. I love the guy, but he isn't in CJ's league. Bama had a few other guys making tackles... Same can't be said for AJ. It's silly to say those two players are comparable based on tackle totals.

I'm not hating on AJ. I think he's a good LB, but I don't think he will be a good NFL LB.

Having strong leadership and all- sec talent on the field is a huge plus for team #118.

I sincerely hope that AJ "Slowly and with Bad Angles" catches another 110 guys this season! :blink:

I don't know... maybe compare them based on how they play the game? Apparently the NFL scouts agree with me that Mosely and AJ aren't close to the same player. They are the experts so maybe you should take it up with them.
