What's new from a UF commit? Ole mehlen at least learned this cycle to not sign these kids yet. He was total bush league last year

I always thought the Vols led until we spoke to his dad a couple of weeks ago and he told us that Fl was all Dee had been talking about lately. Pruitt was 1st to offer, little brother Cam has gotten a good PWO offer and accepted and Knoxville is definitely closer to home. I said a few days ago that I thought it was close between the 2 and that Pruitt was still in it because Dee likes him so much. I still think FL leads slightly but would not surprise me one bit to see him commit to the Vols. I'm hoping we hear from them the next couple of days but until then I've got nothing different to add about him supposedly committing last night to the Vols which I do not believe to be the case.

Why would I be mad about what someone from a 247 site says, especially someone that's probably never met the kid or his family? I won't be mad whatever Dee decides. I'm a Vol fan and hope that we get him but I'm also a big fan and supporter of Dee and his family and I'll be happy for him wherever he ends up.

I think you have done a good job of sharing info and still respecting the family’s privacy. That is a fine line to walk.

Yeah..Imma have to hate the kid if he goes to that pig sty...not really...but really..I hate the Gators, and I really do not understand how a good kid from a good family could want to go to that proven again and again cesspool.

Dude...you are a real f'n buzzkill...you know that? You are the main reason I am so pessimistic about this kid coming to UT besides him proclaiming that cesspool his leader every chance he gets. I was feeling better about it till this post.

It's definitely a fine line to walk. My boss thinks Pruitt is one of the best recruiters in the country and he's also a big believer in Mullen as a coach thus the reasoning for it being such a tough decision for Dee.

Me too, he's going to be a difference maker wherever he ends up. There is another major factor involved that is not being discussed nor should it be that may very well favor the Vols in the end. Stay tuned as we should know more next week.
