'20 AL ATH Kristian Story (Alabama Commit)

"They sucked vs WKU, so I want to watch to see if they improve under Pruitt since I have another year to make a decision." That's what I got out of it.
Western Kentucky? If he doesn’t know the schedule maybe it’s best that he open it up.

If that is indeed the case, then we don't want him yet anyways. He's just being a kid, quick to jump to conclusions (no matter for the good or bad of UT), it'll work out in the end. Best of luck to him in his process.

The article on the Home page about Story said his decommitment is part of our continuing struggles in recruiting. Am I missing something? I wasn't aware we are struggling in recruiting.. The article was by Jordan Dajan, and I have never seen an article by him before, but it is an SDS article. The headline was 'And The Hits Keep Coming', so seemed like an article trying to create an issue that really isn't an issue.

They'll be plenty of Kristian Story's that arise between now and NSD '20. We'll be in a better position anyway by then to get some of the most eleite talent.

I saw the same article. The author's first line was: "Tennessee’s recruiting struggles continued this week. . .", which is totally unfounded. My first thought was that this guy is just an agent provocateur.

Member of the media creating a non-existent issue? That never happens, does it?

Think he really wants to play QB and doesn’t see that here. Specially if we land Bailey.

Yeah I have been thinking this would happen. All of his recent talk has been of him becoming a serious QB prospect for college. That isn't happening in our system

Agreed, way too early to be worrying about 2020 recruits

I sort of understand this but on the day after national signing day I sure read a lot about how important long term relationship building is.
I thinks he means from a media/fan perspective. Obviously coaches have to build inroads with recruits early on, but for us it really is just unnecessary to twiddle our thumbs worrying.

Crystal Ball predictions: Alabama 100%

Story, a four-star Class of 2020 prospect, decommitted from Tennessee on Sept. 4 after being committed to the Vols for more than five months. A two-way athlete who plays quarterback in high school but is widely expected to play defensive back or wide receiver in college, he has received three Crystal Ball picks for Alabama, with two of them coming since he reopened his recruitment.
