'19 AL CB Jaydon Hill

He was at SCAR last weekend. UT/SCAR were 50/50 before the visit; afterward, SCAR moved ahead.

"South Carolina is definitely one of the higher choices, if not number one. Right now, it probably would be South Carolina as my number one. They are kind of sliding up on top really."

So he's in Knoxville this weekend for a last push. He said he wants to wait till August to commit... and if he does, he'll probably be headed to SCAR. We're in on too many others to hold his spot.

20 e-creds says he commits to UT within the next two weeks.

If he's going to commit to UT, he's going to have to do it in the next few weeks. He's in Knoxville this weekend to see where he's at. The dominos are getting ready to fall.

I figured we were taking fields, hill, and burrell at CB

Edit. I forgot about blades and Devin Bush. So many options.

I know. VQ mods said Pruitt wants him, he has a committable offer should he choose to commit, and on the podcast yesterday they said that Hill, Burrell and Fields could all do something soon and Vols are in a good spot with all three. Good spot with Bush too but he's not ready to commit yet.

If Hill waits too long he might lose his spot but I don't think he will. Like I said, I think he commits to UT within the next two weeks.

I just cannot fathom someone who could visit Columbia and actually choose to spend the next 4 years of their life there. I would honestly rather live in Starkville.

The coaches have teed us up for a number of DBs. We've been slowing down commitments and nudged a few away. Things have been fluid, but a number of guys want to commit before their season starts, so the next month is go-time.

I agree there's a good chance that Hill commits. I'm sure he-- and others-- are being told that numbers are tight and the time to get in is now. But if he keeps waffling back and forth and calling SCAR his leader in interviews, IDT we're going to turn away others we want just as much who're ready to commit. I think we'll put a ticking clock on it.

Who did we nudge away?

Yep, Blades and Bush are up there. Pruitt wants taller, longer, physical and versatile. Bush can player corner, nickel and safety and he's a ball hawk. Hits hard. The coaches love that.
