Agreed. I'd be very happy with both. But with us likely only taking 3 corners and feeling good about some others as well room will no doubt be an issue.

Yeah off the top of my head Hill, Burrell, Davis, Blades, Battle, and Fields all seem to have legit interest and I would be happy with any combo of 3 or 4 of those. And that's not even counting Woodi who we should know more about after this weekend. :loco:

Agreed. Also, it seems like they could be a real factor for the kid out of New Orleans as well, assuming LSU fills up with other CB's.

I was thinking Beasley could be a RB but I still think 3 corners, two more that could play anywhere.

Our secondary needs help. TK is gone after this year. Warrior has one more year after this. Nobody else has proven they can play with the big boys. I think the upgrade in coaching will help a lot but we need lots of help in the defensive backfield. We need 3-4 true corners, 1-2 NBs, and 2-3 safeties IMO. 6-9 total DBs. The coaches know what they have and what gaps they need to fill and we are in on some good ones. I know they will get the best guys they possibly can.

A big year from warrior and he prob goes pro so def need safeties

Also think Warrior goes pro after this season. Not wishing it (although am wishing he plays well enough to warrant it - if I can have my cake and eat it too)


IIRC Hill was reportedly announcing around the fourth of July. So idk if we're his last visit or if he'd announce this weekend. Guess we'll see.

The way Beasely sniffs out the run as a safety in his film, I think he's more valuable on defense. Maybe prime candidate for the STAR position or whatever it's called.
