Warren might of been worth keeping if he can pull Kaiir Elam

Trey Dean is a suposed beast in waiting as Is John huggins

He’s got until September and then I’m taking him off the board. There are kids committed to other schools who would ditch them already to come to Tennessee. Tae and Thompson are making some of these decisions a little easier.
No sour grapes, either. They’ll get their, we’ll get ours. From the looks of our Freshman DBs the staff must be thinking we’re not really that desperate to get back-end help as somebody the connect with the QB.

Not ideal for the kid to handle it like that. Yeah, it sucks losing a recruit to Florida but no need in telling both schools that he was coming.
Maybe his entire future works out at UF but it's never a good idea to start burning bridges. As all the adults here understand, you never know when you're going to need to work with someone again.

I think everyone has said that he was at the top of Pruitt's board. The "we didn't want him anyway" is coming from posters saying they didn't want the drama he seems to bring.
Exactly what I'm saying. I'm just pissed he cost us DB by being a lying turd. I wish Pruitt had just pressed for DB, and ingnored this queen a long time ago.

And before anybody starts..No there is no proof of any of this, and never will be, but you're blind as a bat if you can't see that this is what happened.

Too me it seemed like Pruitt would've passed on bush eventually anyway. I don't think Hill is the only one that was higher on Pruitt's board than Bush. JMO

I disagree to a point, I think DB was in until Hill pulled his crap. I do think that if a couple of others that are committed elsewhere wanted to flip later, that DB would have maybe been pushed out. But I really don't think those cats are flipping, so I think DB would have been a Vol, and now he won't.

Exactly... thats why DB tweeted he reopened his commitment even though he never committed publically.

I guess that's how the game is played. You're gonna take a chance occasionally on someone you won't get, and it will cost you. Other times you don't take that chance, and maybe you settle for a player you don't like as much. Nobody likes being misled, but it's bound to happen sometimes. Gotta look at the class as a package, and see how Pruitt does overall. And that grade won't be in for a couple years, when these players have a track record.

My point was just that Pruitt didn't seem sold on him so there would probably be other names that popped up and pushed him out anyway. If we take another CB, I bet its someone new we haven't thought of yet.

Yeah...you are probably right...It does make me wonder what it is about DB that Pruitt doesn't like. I mean I defer to his judgement on DBs, but it is odd that he seems "meh" about him, when other good schools seem to really be high on him.

By the way did you ever see my post answering you in the FT thread the other day? I think we had a misunderstanding about what I was saying in my post about injuries, where you thought I was dogging you..I wasn't at all, it was just me posting a train of thought that your post brought to mind...sorry for the confusion.

But..I still think you are an inflater 😁
