'19 AL CB Jaydon Hill

The teams annually competing for championships sign too 5 classes almost every year. Clemson, Bama, Ohio State, etc. need to pull some top recruits.

I agree. I just wonder if the highly rated players we had/have are severely over rated or just got 0 coaching and strength and conditioning.

Mixture imo. Not every highly rated 4 and 5*'players are SEc caliber. Look at the 5* QBs that have transferred from Bama. I believe Botchs ability to spot true SEC caliber talent was limited. I mean Botch never had a true QB coach his entire time at UT. What does that say?

I mean did Botch ever really beat a good SEC team besides 2013 SC? And he did that with Dooleys guys.

I wouldn't waste another minute on him. I wouldnt return his calls nothing. You don't do that crap. Really going to give a full story? I mean wasting people's time like it's a game. Then he will just commit to instate school when they offer late
I feel the same way. I don't like this kid at all, and it didn't start today. Saw this coming a mile away.

UF needed him bad it was Hill and Elam on the board as far as I know and UGA is hard after Elam

Plus we only have one CB currently committed

Except for you snowflake lizards, noone gives a sh!t...

I wonder how they know? I mean do coaches tell these guys like Hubbs that they are making illegitimate offers?
Well, usually if the offer isn’t serious the school will not pursue the recruit very hard at all and will tell the kid they can’t commit when they try. It has also been mentioned that some of the bigger schools offer a lot of prospects to throw off the competition so that they can increase the odds of getting the prospects they want to focus on.

That's right. There are a lot of games within the game that take place behind the scenes in recruiting,

Butch liked the guys that had a bunch of stars, but no legitimate offers from SEC schools. The last class was all 5 star hearts, and they aren’t very good at football.

There are many at UT who were legitimate elite prospects and have disappointed. The narrative that Jones managed to identify every overrated recruit and sign them to elevate the team’s star rating seems lazy to me. I mean, if you have those kind of evaluation skills and trouble signing big-time players, why not just identify the underrated ones, sign them, and win?

Some for sure
Trey Smith
Drew Richmond
Jalen
Malone
They were highly sought after

I don’t know why they are so upset over this either to be honest lol

Its the VN way. If Hill would have committed to us, then most would be rubbing it the gatots faces. About how we stole a good one from Mullen. But now that he picked UF, he is garbage and thank God he didnt come here.

We didnt get DB commit. Big deal. We are still in great shape with DB recruits.
