I don't feel 50/50 about Gibson and Matthews. By Monday night well be sky high or dumpster diving. We must get one if not both of these guys. These are two big announcements for the back end of our defense. We need one or both. We have to have corners that can play on an island for our defense to take the next step.

The TN fan in me screams we get neither. I'd gladly eat crow if we can get one. I'll be over the moon with both.

I didn't say they grew on trees. I said there are more out there to be discovered. There is someone like Emmanuel Moseley or Cam Sutton or any of a number of others who weren't thought of as "blue chips" as recruits... who actually were blue chips.

And they're not as rare as you think. They're just not that easy to identify.

They don't grow on trees but they do grow up, some in the SR year of HS after playing behind other talented guys, some at smaller schools that can be had in the portal. Heck the services may even elevate some to 4 stars. Bet the staff has a plan.
