Hayward is just as versatile but in different sets. What? They aren't even close to the same player. Merritt is way more versitle and the coaches have only discussed him playing corner. Hayward is a safety all the way. I know you're just BS'ing.
You seem to not realize I am also saying it's stupid to compare the two. Hayward is a great athlete but we won't miss him. We'll always have elite DBs.Hayward is just as versatile but in different sets.
Hayward is also an elite athlete except he’s bigger and stronger too.
Again WTH do people have this NEED to compare the two to justify the one we got is somehow better???
Merrit is a hell of pick up! Hayward is still a huge loss. That’s it!! Nothing else…
Not sure Hayward would play outside corner. Merritt can literally play all positions in the secondary. Hayward is an elite athlete, safety and probably someone you could put in the box and star. Both are versatile elite athletes but Merritt can play all positions. Wish we could’ve gotten both.Hayward is just as versatile but in different sets.

We can’t miss what we never had…You seem to not realize I am also saying it's stupid to compare the two. Hayward is a great athlete but we won't miss him. We'll always have elite DBs.
Your inability to comprehend what you read is not my problem. We can’t miss what we never had…
And no, I don’t see where you articulated to the futility of comparison.
I just want people to stop trying to minimize that Hayward is an amazing player that went somewhere else.
When we could focus on pulling a 6’2 DB with high football IQ that’s very athletic.
There’s just no need at all to compare the two in any way.
Preferably that would have been the absolute money pot.Not sure Hayward would play outside corner. Merritt can literally play all positions in the secondary. Hayward is an elite athlete, safety and probably someone you could put in the box and star. Both are versatile elite athletes but Merritt can play all positions. Wish we could’ve gotten both.
Oh and no Hayward can’t play CB .Not sure Hayward would play outside corner. Merritt can literally play all positions in the secondary. Hayward is an elite athlete, safety and probably someone you could put in the box and star. Both are versatile elite athletes but Merritt can play all positions. Wish we could’ve gotten both.
Who do you think has a better grasp on what was said? The one who said it, or some guy who clearly can't comprehend words? Someone obviously understood it. My response got a like. Someone who can read better than you, clearly. Done with this. Wasting my time arguing with the likes of you.Man you didn’t say what you said you said.
Not that big of a deal. Get over yourself…
I mean in terms of impact they think he can have, quality of player he can be ECT. Def not an exact replacement. What? They aren't even close to the same player. Merritt is way more versitle and the coaches have only discussed him playing corner. Hayward is a safety all the way. I know you're just BS'ing.
