'20 AL DE Jimari Butler (Nebraska commit)

I wonder if those complaining about this tremendous athlete under the radar kid, would have complained about 2 star Josh Allen.
Not all of the posters meh’ing this commit fall under my next reference but MANY would be deathly silent and hibernating if this were an Ojulari commit...cuz they were. Some would only come out for air in such a thread to predict he wouldn’t stick and/or criticize his speed and/stats. Then feeding time and absolute statements when their prayers were answered. It’s the misery johns you deal with on this board.

Get Maryland type commits, get Maryland like results. Hope everyone is okay with 6-6 for the foreseeable future. And this is entirely the staff's fault. I'm not convinced winning against Georgia State and BYU would've changed anything. This was a mess since May.
Kid has a huge upside. Let coaches find and coach kids up.

Like the measurables and upside.

I think it’s an inherent risk taking guys with very limited exposure to the game. Seems like with Flowers, Akpo, this kid, and I feel like one or two more that I’m forgetting, we’ve been ..... “reaching” for lack of a better word the past few cycles.

Very boom or bust strategy. Hope we don’t have to rely on it much going further.

That said... this young man looks the part. I’ll be rooting for him.

Boom!!! 3-star U!!!

That's just it. Crapping on this program is the only thing that make them happy. Being miserable is a way of life to some. I don't get it. Seeing this kid's film is exciting when you think about how little football he has actually played.
Can you imagine someone going through life like that? Just sad.

I don't know anything about watching film, but our coaches know more than the recruiting services, and the ones that follow them. SO.....BOOM!

When SLICKYINC first posted this thread in September, I was immediately impressed with Butler. He was strong, dominant, athletic and aggressive. The next thing I checked out was the competition he played against. His competition appeared to be solid, so I looked up Murphy HS’s classification to get an idea of the potential quality of players. Murphy High is 7A, and if I’m not mistaken, that’s the largest classification in Alabama. For Jimari to come in and dominate in his first year playing football against solid talent is an accomplishment to take note of... If he continues to develop and takes to coaching, I can assure folks that he will not disappoint. The low ranking was because he had only played 1 year of football.

D line playing improved on the back end of schedule. Very happy they are but depth is a huge issue. We lose DT next year as well.
Improved to dominating status and we’re at least two deep with Gooden and Simmons full participants next season. Lose DT and return Bennett and Johnson and see what Roman Harrison brings. If anything, we’re deeper and more loaded next season.

Development it is. At least we know they can do that. Has the measurements and frame for what you want in an edge rusher. Evaluate.. Develop. If he has a head for the game he'll probably turn out pretty good for us.

Boom.

3 star with an offer list from schools similar to us (results wise) over the last several years. We may not like, but its where we are at

If you don’t know Ruck I encourage you to seek Rucker. Set aside about an Hr to find out what Ruck is all about. The knowledge he will drop on you is critical to being the best you on VN you can be. Go forth now and seek the Devine wisdom...
I'm a liberal. He will most likely despise my very being. I also have degrees in Communications, and, experience in Public Radio. I proactively listen to radio.

I dont think Cucker would like me.
