'20 AL DE Jimari Butler (Nebraska commit)

The fact that Gary Patterson wanted this guy at TCU is a real good sign. He has been finding kids like this for years and turning them into NFL players. Butler will almost certainly need a redshirt year to put some weight on that 6'5" frame, and simply learn more about the game of football, particularly good technique, but the physical tools are there. Putting weight on a player is the easy part. Hope he has the mental toughness as well.

Welcome aboard Mr. Butler! Boom!

If your going to take a shot with someone you take a shot on dudes with these measurables that are still raw yet put up stats like these and you trust your strength program and coaching. We aren’t the only ones noticing. Ole Miss, Maryland, Nebraska etc all offered in past month or so.

There's a reason underdog stories can be so great. Doubt them and give them motivation to prove everyone wrong. I'm not saying some of these kids that have been recruited since 8th grade don't have heart, but what do they have to prove? I really hope this kid, and all the other "meh" commits we get really show out.

18 sacks and run ms a 4.59 40 with only just getting back to football? Wow freak athlete. Probably a red shirt candidate but he could be a monster down the road.
I like his upside for sure, but we need immediate help at DE, not sure we accomplish that with this kid.

I wonder if those complaining about this tremendous athlete under the radar kid, would have complained about 2 star Josh Allen.

There's not a single recruit that Pruitt could take a commitment from that some on this board wouldn't fluff. That's the issue. A lot of folks just assume because Tennessee takes a commitment from them automatically means that Pruitt is really high on them.
