‘23 AL OT Stanton Ramil (Michigan St. commit)

Do other sites/teams not post easy to access video interviews with prospects after their visits like VQ does?
I’ve found that we generally have 10x the coverage overall when compared to other schools. Volnation, the free fan-run site, is better than nearly all other schools’ paid sites, and that doesn’t even take into account the amount of journalists, media guys and recruiting experts who report on the program. Hubbs has been the gold standard for pay site coverage for years, and they give a lot more free info via their podcasts and interviews on the YouTube channel than most fans get by paying.

I know it's more likely we land Umarov than Stanton, but I would absolutely love to land Stanton, his film is outrageously good, from what I hear Lucas Simmons is leaning USC, and Stanton MSU, but I hope we can make a push for him

simmons is FSU

Umarov looks solid too don't get me wrong, and I have no doubt he'll develope into our potential future left tackle, but Stanton looks like you could give him reps year 1

It's not so much me looking through orange colored glasses, I just don't keep up with Michigan state or BG10 football. I watch some of the bigger rivalry games like Michigan vs TOSU or TOSU vs Penn state and that's about it. I sure as heck don't keep up with Michigan state.

And last year was an off year for me. I was in a wreck, got injured and had a lot going on. If it happened outside the SEC, I probably missed it.

Sorry about your wreck. Hope you’re okay and fully recovered. Sounds like a helluva bad year.

It seems strange to put forth an opinion about something, then when someone points out how it’s inaccurate, say, “well, I don’t know about that subject.” Why’d you state the opinion then?

Mookie is right. State is a hot program right now (whether UT fans acknowledge it or now). In his 2nd year, Tucker (the man Fulmer should’ve hired instead of Pruitt) got them to a NY6 bowl (in which they easily handled the same Pitt team that beat UT), defeated playoff bound Michigan, went 11-2, got a lot of pub with a star Heisman candidate RB (a lightly recruited kid from Tennessee), and was in the playoff conversation late into the season until they were upset by Purdue.

If Heupel has a 2nd season like that, we’ll all be giddy. And recruiting will be electric.

I agree with you ab Tucker & Mich St., but they didn’t “easily handle the same Pitt team that beat UT.” Pickett skipped the bowl game.

It wasn't so much as an opinion, I said "what buzz" around the MSU program. I hadn't heard any buzz. When another poster did they were having a good year recruiting and having good seasons, I said I'd take their word for it.

I don't keep up with BG10 programs other than watching the rivalry games.
