oh stop it. AP was as plugged in to the Maui recruitment as anyone in the 48. Dont expect him to change a kids mind. If it's about money, its money. Hate to say it, if Maui was making his own decision, it would be TN. I think once the family saw a payday, it became Miami.

Seldon doesnt strike me as that type. Then again wth do I know?

PSUs NIL game is very comparable to ours. We are firmly a tier two NIL program id say. With Miami, A&M and Texas maybe a few others in a class of their own.

Just following it pretty closely. Seems like the three I mentioned have a lot higher ceilings on their funds available than the others…but seems like A&M may not be getting same leeway this year.

If we’re worried about going broke matching that offer while to UM it’s just another drop in the bucket, I’d say that’s fairly solid evidence we’re not in the top tier as far as NIL goes.

Or $1 million at Poker, etc etc. Could just be that there's method to the madness. Even if we could afford it. No OL is worth $4 million without playing a down.

I wanted to like this post until you made the family sound greedy. If you have the opportunity to earn generational wealth in your late teens - early 20s just by choosing one school over another, you do it.

Did I say 'greedy'? I said once the family got involved it became about money. There are myriad factors determining where money falls in your own hierarchy.

I'm looking at this from our perspective (or trying), it isnt logical to overpay for a HS OL.

Agree. As soon as I heard what their offer was it’s just really hard at that point to justify him not going to Miami. Whole point is to get prepped for the nfl where you can make pro money. A million a year is life changing income.

Yeah that's not true. As far as a true NIL collective, ours is a pretty top tier one. Miami just has ONE billionaire guy dropping big money off for their current recruiting class. That's not sustainable, especially with him being under investigation and his businesses are taking some major hits right now.

Yeah that's not 100% accurate. As far as a true NIL collective, ours is a pretty top tier one. Miami just has ONE billionaire guy dropping big money off for their current recruiting class. That's not sustainable, especially with him being under investigation and his businesses are taking some major hits right now.
