‘23 AL OT Stanton Ramil (Michigan St. commit)

Yeah that's not 100% accurate. As far as a true NIL collective, ours is a pretty top tier one. Miami just has ONE billionaire guy dropping big money off for their current recruiting class. That's not sustainable, especially with him being under investigation and his businesses are taking some major hits right now.

You can say that again!!!

$4 million at the Poker table all in.

Or $1 million at Poker, etc etc. Could just be that there's method to the madness. Even if we could afford it. No OL is worth $4 million without playing a down.

Jackcrevol I agree here. I think we have to remember that GM's in the NFL worry about what they are paying players when they negotiate because it sets new standards for that position and they have caps.

I wonder if some of the Tate and Kasper failure to pick UT was because of the NICO $$ rumors and they felt that they should get a lot more than Spyre was willing to commit considering he needed funds for other NILs. These players especially 5* usually have big ego(s) and don't really consider reality just what they feel they "Deserve".

Kasper wanted to reclassify.

Tate was always a nose whistler.

This includes the 5 stars we get, right?

Did I say 'greedy'? I said once the family got involved it became about money. There are myriad factors determining where money falls in your own hierarchy.

I'm looking at this from our perspective (or trying), it isnt logical to overpay for a HS OL.
You made them sound greedy. You don’t know what was discussed.

IF we can add this young man and Simmons, I think we more than addressed OL with this class. Not saying I wouldn't take another quality IOL if they wanted in, because I would, but I'd be extremely happy with Ramil, Simmons, Sham, and Bussell.

Not to mention Duncan who could also end up on the OL.
