This is a little outrageous. Can’t tell if someone’s a nfl guy before they play a college game. If that was the case every five star would end up a star in the nfl
He is a talented athlete, but football is a brotherhood. Our other recruits had been doing weekly chats since this summer and bonding. They tried including Smith. When he did sign on for the chats, he never really talked and cut up with the other guys. Eventually he stopped participating all together. That's been a few months ago. Like I said earlier, I thought he was just a quiet kid. Kind of a loner.... but it appears that he never fully wanted to be a Vol. Time to move on.I know talent when I see it. And this kid just has the look of a baller. Huge loss in my eyes. He was our second best DB recruit after Ricky Gibson.
