Sucks but all well next man up!

Gbo!

That's the problem - next man up on this defense has been bad. If they were any good, they wouldn't be the next man up.
Also, when your starters are terrible, the backups are not going to help anything. We need fresh blood - talented athletes.
Having said that, I don't want any kid here that wishes they were elsewhere. Is Freeze up to his old tricks ?

AP had been hinting at this for awhile and talking about it being a possibility. If AP saw it then I am sure the coaching staff did as well.

Does anybody know when we had our last visit and how many calls from his chief recruiter and HC he has gotten over this period of time when this act was put into play? There is a lot of room between we did not care and the staff is losing sleep. Maybe a portal guy has shown up that offers more immediate help rather than developmental candidate. I will sit back and watch.

Sure it was a big loss, but what was going to stop him from transferring to Auburn after this season where he doesn’t play much as a freshman. At least it’s out of the way now
I may be different, but I don’t see it as loss. We have a ton of young safeties. Walker and Slaughter should start. Tank and Turrentine as back ups. We need OT, LB, WR more right now. I’m glad we have the spot to use.

I hope nobody is crying crocodile tears about losing this guy. He was a developmental project player at best, and we need immediate secondary help. Better to shop the portal and wish this guy the best.

Four star players with multiple SEC offers and over 30 D1 offers are absolutely NOT "developmental project player at best."
