I think this young man with an improved Baron and Joseph - plus if Middleton come back next year - I think we might actually have a pass rush.

He’s played very solid in the limited action he has gotten in on. He and Omari are normally getting a push and in back field. They just don’t play them

He’s a freshman linemen, so probably just growing and getting strong enough to play against 3rd-5th year Olinemen.

That’s not my point. Point was everyone freakin out saying they need reassurance. He’s been giving reassurance since he committed. But everyone is so chicken little right now they’ve forgotten how to do a quick scan for articles or browse his social media

Won’t have to. This year doesn’t count for eligibility so he can save the RS in case he needs it later.

Pretty rare for a true Freshman to immediately look like an elite pass rusher. I think Baron has shown a lot of promise in his limited time. Him and Morven Joseph are both going to be good.

I think Roman Harrison has a couple sacks too... he could also be good with more reps.

We need him to be. I think Felton was a mistake like Brumbaugh. Would love to see us get Davis and Lupois in the offseason

While I agree about the Freshman part he just hasn’t flashed in the pass rush department. Now he’s made plays against the run, I think he’ll develop into a run stuffing 3/4 DE and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, I like Roman, too. This is part of the reason I'm not nearly as "bearish" on Pruitt's future here as a lot of others. The defense is very young and they are still in the top half of the conference. Couple of years and I think this D is going to look very, very good.

Just gotta figure out the QB and fix the offense. That's the part I'm worried about, but hopefully Bailey and / or Salter ends up being the next great UT QB.

Again, he’s a freshman in a very difficult and different season. Not to mention his position coaches haven’t had any opportunity to develop anyone. And the d line coach getting fired doesn’t help.

Yeah once we an practice as a full team again it will be a more cohesive unit.
