Alabama 2016

I'm sure when a fellow Florida fan doesn't 100% bash Florida St. or happens to disagree with something you said about them, you immediately accuse them of defending them and being a closet FSU fan, don't you?

I mean that's how rational adults act right?

:p

That's the tried and true tactic of someone not intelligent and/or mature enough to have a rational and objective discussion.

Take Coug for instance...

Is this the wrong place to mention Cornelius Bennett's son committed to the Big Orange.
Bennett Sr. was one good football player

I grew up watching Bennett (raised by bammers), hopefully he has a lot of his dad in his skillset. I was at the '86 ND game when he went out of his mind rushing the QB. Absolutely terrorized Beuerlein the who game.

I'm so tired of the arrogance of the Bama fans on here. Tusk has always been a tool but now even Bamawriter (who is usually tolerable and can be somewhat unbiased at times) is fast approaching tool status.

I can't wait for ya'll to fall.. and I hope it starts this year. I'm not sure what I want more.. for the tide to lose 3 and sit at home instead of going to Atlanta or for us 2 beat your ass twice...

I haven't called you names, wished you bad, or swore off smoky mountain vacations.

I even tip waitresses, all decked out in orange gear, when I'm chowing down in Townsend.

What's not to like?

Hey Coug...... BUCK FAMA, just let it go at that

I probably won't but I'll give you a like for the bama hate!

Are you also trying to figure out how messageboards work? You know, how when you post something, another poster can respond to what you posted?

My mistake though, because obviously you have the mentality and emotional temperment of a 3rd grader.

Twice now I've asked you the same question and twice you've responded with anything and everything BUT an actual answer. Someone throwing out condescending statements and calling someone else a 3rd grader at the same time is the definition of irony. Please, let's discuss mentality and emotional temperament. You're nothing if not mildly entertaining at least.

Tenn had about two and a half minutes left to get the job done. Great teams do great things in less time. Great teams don't get shut down on the LOS and the ball taken from them to boot.

Only one great team making it all happen that day.

"Great teams"?? So maybe we should poll your coach and just about every other bama fan that watched that AL vs TN game and ask them if they feel like that was a "great" effort on Alabama's part?

I suspect most of the tools will disappear from the board immediately upon Bama's fall from grace.

Doubling down I see.

Pointing out your 3rd grade mentality BECAUSE of the idiotic question you keep asking has nothing to do with "irony", something else you apparently don't understand.

But yes, let's continue your "neener neener ur a Bammer" mentality, because it's obviously working out so well for you.

And yet Bama won. That's what great teams do. Find a way to get it done. All the way to the national championship. Their 4th in 7 years. Thus defining them as a dynasty in the college football world.

Can't argue with success. I mean, if you're sane.

So....you think Tennessee almost beat an Alabama team that gave a poor effort? Do you not even realize you're pissing on UT's performance by criticizing Alabama's effort?

2 things:

What the hell we talking about Alabama for?

If Tennessee wants to beat Alabama then Dobbs needs a threat down field. they'll sell out before Hurd runs for almost 100 again.

What's going on with Bill Battle? I heard on PFS he is stepping down as AD due to health reasons.

He's taking an indefinite leave in order to deal with a cancer. Multiple Myeloma. Stage 1, partial remission. His prognosis is good, considering he's 73.

All they said yesterday was "health reasons". Hope he comes out of it ok.

Thanks

And great defenses always travel well.

Not sure why Bama's success isn't understood any better?

Must be too busy game planning those high-tech offenses.

You are terrible at arguing. It's painfully obvious I made this thread to troll. Sadly, I caught an immature one and now I just want to throw you back in because you need more time to grow.

Take off your crimson colored glasses and read it again. I'm indirectly praising TN for their effort and the obvious sign that they're turning into a monster team that is going to stomp a mud hole in Alabama this year.

Let's talk Alabama in 2016! Better yet, let's talk about how NOBODY is talking about Alabama and those that are have little faith in their program this season. The silence is just as good as any negative news coming out of Alabama. Not even their homeboy Paul Finebaum has any faith in them this year. It's pretty much taking all he's got from saying "they're going to suck this year". :)

I will never count out a Saban coached team. Getting into the playoffs and winning one with Sims 2 years ago and Coker last year is remarkable. Ala has had to do it with offense more the past 2 years and not sure it happens without Kiffin. They lost a lot from last year's NC team on both sides and the 3rd straight year having to replace a starting QB. I still think LSU wins the West simply because Ala plays at Ole Miss,LSU and TN. They could lose all 3 or win all 3. Then open with USC. They easily could lose 4 but highly doubt it. Don't think Ole Miss beats them 3 straight and don't know enough about this USC team. Both TN and LSU have the talent to win and the type of QB that have caused Saban problems. Just depends on the improvements Dobb's and Harris has made. Throw in Pruitt as the new DC who has given up a lot of points to TN both years. Things could go either way for Ala just quite a few unknowns.

Agreed. We gotta find a way to score over 20 and Dobb's has to be more consistent down field.H e had some really good throws against them last year but needed TD's instead of way too many missed FG's.

Sure you did junior.

It's totally not that you were getting your ass handed to you and now you're grasping at straws to save face.
