Alabama and Texas A&M have SEC's wimpiest schedules...

It is not Bama's fault UT and Auburn are down. The quality of our team factors in the schedule rankings.

This! If UT was worth a crap, Bama's schedule would appear more difficult

Yeah he has plenty of ammo to come back with... but I will despise Bama with every fiber in my body until the Good Lord calls me home. Even watched the 5 OT game in 2003 yesterday to relive some good times..... SOON :hi:

Seriously! 5 OT's to beat a 4-9 (2-5 at the time) Bama team. :ermm:

That's like talking to a Bama fan in 10 years and having him tell you he's been watching the 2011 or 2012 Bama/ UT game....WHY?

At least UT won but I wouldn't call it "good times".

i went ahead and liked your post just because it takes balls, even on the internet, to post that given the amount of material a bama fan would have in a comeback in this situation.

Not smart to call gunfights when you know the other guy is faster:)

Nothing like trash talking a rival fanbase by piggybacking another team.

And we demolished Tennessee that same season, so...

Grow some balls, it was freaking ULM.

We beat Alabama the same year we lost to Memphis, too. It's still an embarrassing loss that UT rightfully took plenty of flack for.

Did you still get flack for it six years after the fact from fans of a team, other than Memphis, whom the Vols had been skulldragging for over half a decade?

Beating some of the worst ut teams in recent history is truly impressive. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Easy! UT fans still relish the winning 9 out of 10 vs. Bama from '95-'04, and some of those Bama teams were horrible. One guy was on here earlier this week talking about watching the 5 OT win vs. Bama in '93....a Bama team that was 2-5 at the time and finished 4-9.

Yea the same thing we were doing to you guys from 95 til 2006

Ha, not even close:

Even if we take out Bama's wins in '02 and '05, Tennessee's average margin of victory in those ten wins was 11.8.

Bama's average margin of victory in the current streak is 23.2.

Even if we just picked UT's best 6 wins out of the 10 wins in 12 years, the average MOV is only 16.

So no, UT wasn't doing the same thing to Bama that Bama is currently doing to UT.

I wouldn't trade schedules. 3 of the first 4 games against possible top 10 schools. First two are a given top 10. They have Clemson and GT OOC, we have Oregon who just got less difficult without Kelly.

fyp......

Dude, THEY still beat US. Are you only a fan when we are good; are they "your" teams then? You gonna smack talk a team that has won 3 of the last 4 NCs, be a big boy and take your medicine.

damn skippy, 9 out of 10 and I don't care if they were 0-11 those years. Yeah, they are my number two team, but The Vols are my number ONE!

pft, they are both a loss, get over it. You won 3 of 4 NC's, quit waving your private parts around.

uga has lsu this year. the main difference is that georgia has georgia tech instead of oregon. when auburn becomes good again, georgia's schedule will be tougher.

but, and forgive me for this, but tennessee's schedule also has the added situation where tennessee isn't ranked and the the other teams in the east are.

so, playing florida, georgia and south carolina is tougher than playing tennessee and any combination of two of the other three (florida, georgia, south carolina)

Couldn't say it any better.

There is no Birmingham conspiracy. I remember Alabama fans complaining about their schedule in the mid 90s when UF rotated on their conference slate, Auburn was an annual SEC contender, in addition to playing a Top 5 UT squad every year.
