Blake barnette ( a 5 star high school all American qb) who was slated to start but was substituted out after a bad start against usc is transferring. Curious as to if Tennessee would be interested in him ( and vice versa)

One bad start does not make him a bad qb.

He won't be transferring tio an SEC school.

If they give him an xfer...probably will not let him xfer to an sec school..usually how it works

Only way an SEC school is if he transfers down to division and then the next year he can go anywhere he wants.

I told you before the season started he wasn't anything to worry about and one of the worst QB's we would face. DO NOT WANT.

Hell no. We have 3 great qb prospects that choose us to begin with and have been working hard while waiting their chance. We need a qb in just about every class but at this point you'd think we'd want that qb to be a true freshman...allowing one of the more experienced players to win the job whole red shirting the freshman

QB is a tough spot to be second string. Given that Hurts looks to be the starter for the next three years, it's not surprising Barnett wants to transfer. Kids s good player and will start somewhere.

Looking at our roster, will we lose a QB after next spring? We'll have 3 guys competing for one spot.

So is David Cornwell just content to sit on the bench in Tuscaloosa and collect rings without ever playing a snap?

Don't want. That he considered, let alone attended, bammer probably insures he's academically ineligible.
