Why would he go to Louisville to be a back up to another freshman? That's what he's doing at Bama. I'm sure he'll pick a school in a lower division so he can have a chance to be a starter.

One bad start does not make him a bad qb.

That's correct - he can transfer to any school who will have him. The school/coach only has to "approve" the transfer if eligible to play immediately.

He only has to sit 4 games next year if he plays juco ball this year.
